3rd Place for Integrated Sign Package - Stone Ridge

About UsTexas Sign Association (TSA) awarded Southwest Signs employee, Reese Stanley, along with the architect, 3rd place for The Stone Ridge Market signs. The award was presented for one of the best integrated sign packages in the state of Texas. Every year TSA has a contest for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in eight categories. Companies all over Texas submit entries for these prestigious awards. Reese worked closely with other employees to help create signs that would integrate with the shopping complex. "It involved coordinating separate elements, such as the stone, metal work and logo to provide an integrated theme for all the signage in the shopping center," says Reese.

You could go to any section of The Stone Ridge Market complex and see a sign, the identity of the sign structure would be a part of the overall complex. In today's market, it is all about visual identity. Through teamwork and hard work Southwest Signs was able to produce a great quality product.

3rd Place for Smaller Freestanding Electrical Signs - The Quarry Restaurant

About UsTexas Sign Association (TSA) awarded Southwest Signs employee, Gabriel Garza, 3rd place for The Quarry Restaurant sign. The award was presented for one of the best smaller freestanding electrical signs in the state of Texas. This sign is a double-faced monument sign with reverse channel letters, illuminated with LED lights using solar panels and a battery storage system. The Quarry Restaurant sign, one of the first 100 percent solar-powered signs in San Antonio, was designed, manufactured and installed by Southwest Signs This sign is helping the customer reduce power consumption costs as well as having a positive environmental impact.

The sign started as a re-face using the existing sign, but after group collaboration it ended up being a renovation to the existing sign with a new structure. Gabriel says, "It is great being recognized, but the award came about because of the whole contribution of our Southwest Signs staff. From the client and sales staff, to the art department and production team, to the final structure being installed by our crew." Group effort and determination helped this concept become a reality.
